Authenticate your sending domain and manage senders

Noticestry One uses approved sender identities so your workspace can send with the correct brand and domain. Domain authentication, visible From details, and Reply-to serve different purposes.

Open Senders

Choose the account menu at the bottom of the sidebar, then Account settings → Senders. Check the workspace before making changes. If management controls are unavailable, ask your workspace administrator or Noticestry support to help.

Set up a domain

  1. Enter the Authenticated From domain you want recipients to see, such as example.com.
  2. Review the Return-path subdomain (DNS only). This supports delivery handling and does not change the visible From address. To send from a subdomain such as name@news.example.com, authenticate news.example.com as the From domain.
  3. Set the default From address prefix, From name, and Reply-to. Use a monitored Reply-to mailbox.
  4. Create the domain identity with the displayed action.
  5. Copy each DNS record exactly as shown into the service that manages your domain's DNS.
  6. After the records have propagated, use the domain's validation action and check its resulting status.
Add authenticated domain form with domain, return-path label, sender details, and Create domain identity

Start in Settings → Senders. Add your domain and sender details, then follow the DNS records generated for that identity.

Check DNS carefully

Use the record types, hosts, and values supplied for this identity. Some DNS dashboards automatically add the domain to a host name; check the resulting full name to avoid entering it twice. When a DNS service offers proxying, follow the record instructions so email validation can resolve the expected value.

Authentication must show a verified active identity before you rely on it for sending. Creating the identity or saving records alone does not prove validation succeeded.

Use the sender in an email

In a campaign or automation email, choose an available approved domain and review the full From address, display name, and Reply-to. Defaults help fill the form, but review the saved message's actual values. Replies go to its configured Reply-to; do not assume they return to the account's sign-in address.

Retire or restore an old domain

Review affected messages before archiving a domain. Archiving removes it from active sending choices while retaining its DNS details and history. Use Show archived to find and restore it. A restored identity may need validation before it can send again.

If validation remains pending, compare the published DNS values with the supplied records and share the domain, status, and error with support. Do not include passwords or API keys.
